This policy explains how Verapax Solutions Inc. and Verapax Consultoría use and protect personal and confidential information we collect about you when you use our website and services.

Who are we?

Verapax is a small, boutique consultancy firm, legally registered in Canada and Guatemala. We provide training, strategic advisory, and evaluation services worldwide. We believe in building equitable, reciprocal, and sustainable relations with the people we work with and for with the purpose of co-creating long-lasting desirable impacts. Our commitment to privacy and confidentiality underpins all our interactions and services.

How do we collect information from you?

We collect information about you when you request information using our email contact forms, and the Book a Call with Verapax form. We also collect information through your participation in our training courses and during the provision of consultancy or evaluation services.

All information collected is treated with the highest degree of confidentiality and is secured on our systems.

What information do we collect about you?

We may collect your name, your organization or institution, your role, email address, phone, Slack, or social media contact details. For participants in our training courses, we also collect date of birth for insurance purposes. Additional information may be collected in the context of consultancy or evaluation services, depending on the nature of the engagement.

Accessing and updating your information

You have the right to request a copy of the information we hold about you in various formats, to reuse with other service providers. If you would like a copy of some or all of your personal information, please email info@verapax.org. You may ask us to correct or remove information you think is inaccurate or request the permanent removal of your information.

In the unlikely event of a breach of confidentiality, we will promptly notify you and any applicable regulator, where we are legally required to do so.
